The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Laptop with Video Out is the best way to showcase VR to a large group. Included with this laptop is both an HDMI and Mini Display port. The Oculus Rift or HTC Vive headset require a dedicated HDMI, and most laptops are not built to output to a second display (ie a TV or projector). This hp omen laptop was one of the only laptops that our partners found that would allow the user to connect a virtual reality headset and output the video to another display without paying more than $2,000. This is not a cheap gaming laptop.

Note: When you receive the laptop, the wifi may be disabled. The necessary updates for both the laptop and the VR operating system (Oculus or Steam) will be downloaded and installed, so you’ll be able to play any experience that doesn’t require internet (which includes nearly every experience we preload). If you decide to connect to the internet, it’s possible that you will need to perform an update to the computer since we can not control GeForce (graphics card), Oculus, or Steam software updates and they are not announced prior to the date they are pushed. If you run into any issues, just let us know and we’ll help you troubleshoot.
