Games & Experiences
The Oculus Go has a lot of uses already, and our partners’ rentals cover any need you may have. You can play Oculus Go games and experiences for fun, produce and share videos as a filmmaker, or demo your newest VR app.
There are literally thousands of Oculus virtual reality games to choose from at the Oculus Store, but this means it’s hard to know which ones to play. The Paradox of Choice.
To make it easy, our partners offer a few packages. The first two are best if you just want to have a ready-to-play headset. If you have a commercial purpose in mind, the packages starting at #3 likely cover your needs. If you don’t see what you’re looking for listed below, just send us a note via the Contact Us form at the bottom of the page, and we’ll follow-up with you.
1. VR Arcade
This is a package of 20+ of the best Oculus Go experiences ($100+ value) ranging from first person shooters to base jumping off a cliff to roller coasters, racing, strategy games, Disney, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, and so much more. You’re bound to find something in this mix of experiences to blow your mind. Warning: This package includes games that may not be suitable for children.
2. Kid’s VR Package
Our partners offer a kid-friendly package of 10+ VR experiences. These virtual reality games and experiences bring non-stop fun to any party. Kids (and adults) can choose from snowball fights, roller coasters, strategy games, jumping off a mountain, racing, Disney, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and a few others. Kids can’t stop talking about how much fun they have.
3. Samsung VR Video
Our partners are happy to make sure that Samsung VR Video is already loaded on your headset. In our experience, the Samsung VR Video app is the most reliable free virtual reality video playback apps. This is the right option if you’re planning to sideload video Oculus Go yourself.
4. Sideload Video
Our partners are happy to sideload your video on our headsets. Included in this price is a FREE initial test of the video file to confirm that everything works as expected. If the initial testing fails (ie the video doesn’t play), there will be an additional fee that will cover the additional testing as needed.
5. Prep Pixvana Spin Studio (no longer available)
Pixvana Spin Studio is an awesome way to play videos for multiple people. There are several different configurations, but one we like is setting a Spin where the video you’ve put on the headset plays from the beginning anytime someone picks up the Oculus Go VR headset. It requires internet, and a multi-step set-up plus encoding time for the video. You will need a laptop in addition to the headset to control the headsets. Please ask any questions you have about this option.
6. Sideload App
Have you hired a developer who delivered you an APK and now you have to sideload the app on the Oculus Go, but you aren’t sure what to do? We can help. Our partners use this amazing Oculus Go Sideload App APK Tutorial to sideload your app on your device.
7. Developer Mode + Account Credentials
Our partners already have a few developer accounts, so if you have something specific in mind, just ask for a dev account with credentials, and they’ll provide it for you. It’s much better than having to waste time doing Factory Resets on the Oculus headset. We’ve been there, and we want to avoid that hassle for everyone.
When you receive your oculus go rental, it will already be logged into one of our partners’ accounts. You are always welcome to download any FREE experience.
