The Oculus Rift is one of the premiere virtual reality rigs with thousands of games and experiences available to experience. Included in the rental are 2 Touch VR Controllers and 2 Oculus Sensors. You can move, pick things up, and even throw a punch in virtual reality, just as you would in real life. The Oculus Rift requires a cleared space of at least 4 feet x 6 feet plus some space for the computer (or laptop) plus the sensors.
Our partners offer an Oculus Rift package if you need to rent a laptop, and they offer a few different options (see below). Our partners make your rental easy by preloading the Oculus software and experiences you request plus update the computer before shipping.
Each Oculus Rift vr headset rental includes some AA batteries to power the controllers. Headphones are built into the headset.
Our partners rent Oculus Rift, but sometimes it makes more sense for you to buy the vr equipment instead of rent it.The Oculus Rift price is $349 at Amazon. The total Oculus Rift cost is closer to $1,200 since you also need a laptop that meets certain requirements. If you take a look at the VR Ready laptops we offer, you’ll find the Amazon buy links to those as well. The lowest-priced NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 TI laptop we use is $789.
Before each use, we thoroughly disinfect our iPhone 11 rental equipment using bacteria- and virus-killing solutions. We follow guidelines presented by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) and the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) to ensure that you as a consumer are kept safe and provide our products’ longevity. When equipment is returned, it is given an in-depth examination for damage and is re-sanitized using the process mentioned above. And thus, the cycle continues. Beat Saber (Top 3)
Whether you’re playing the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive or Playstation VR, Beat Saber is one of the most popular games in virtual reality. Your controllers become lightsabers and your must slice boxes that are timed with some amazingly fun music. This is definite crowd-pleaser and the first experience we recommend for anyone’s first taste of virtual reality. Watch out, you may work up a sweat.
Tilt Brush (Top 3)
Paint in 3D with an unlimited palette using Tilt Brush. This experience takes painting to a new level. You can move around and create art in space. Output your work as GIF and share it with others. You can also play Pictionary by having teams watch the picture get drawn on the laptop (or a bigger TV / projector if you rent the laptop with video out). It’s a ton of fun.
Space Pirate Trainer(Top 3)
Stand on a platform and shoot down waves of drones trying to take you down first. This is a fun shooting game that allows you to move around, dodging bullets and returning fire. Virtual reality shooting games are much more interactive, and this kid-friendly shooter is a ton of fun.
Arizona Sunshine
One of the first multi-player games that comes to mind is the Zombie shooter, Arizona Sunshine. Play alone or with a team as you kill Zombies in the desert heat.
SuperHot
SuperHot is a mind-blowing game. Your faceless enemies only move as fast you do. You can dodge bullets, punch enemies, grab objects to throw, and shoot. This interactive game can get intense, in a good way.
Robo Recall
One of the coolest VR experiences available. Robo Recall puts you in the middle of the action. Your dual guns load at your hips whenever you run out of bullets. You can grab enemy robots and rip them apart. Or punch them. This is a great game, but there are a lot of controls to learn. This experience needs at least 10 minutes just to do the training, so be mindful of time.
Richie’s Plank Experience
Face your fears by walking out on a plank of wood overlooking a city street. There are other game modes that allow you to fly around the city, putting out fires. Overall, lots of fun with a group who can watch how you do.
The Climb
If you’ve always wanted to climb, but don’t know where to start, The Climb could be a good first step. Once you master the controls, you beginning climbing a mountain, using your arms to reach each hand hold. It’s a fun and challenging experience that you could lost in for hours. Welcome to the Jungle!
When you receive the laptop, it will already be logged into an Oculus vr account. You are always welcome to download any FREE experience.

Oculus Rift Headset
The comfortable Oculus Rift virtual reality headset transports you to a new world, and the built-in headphones surround you with 360 audio.
Oculus Rift Touch Controllers
You use two hand Touch controllers to take action in virtual reality by picking things up, jumping, and shooting. In addition, the sensors pick up the movement of the Touch controllers which allow you to slice beat boxes with lightsabers in Beat Saber as if you were truly holding the Jedi weapon in your hands.
Oculus Rift Sensors
Oculus Rift requires sensors to track your movements. Our partners include two. The on-screen instructions will show you how to set them up, but if you have any issues, just let us know.

Included with your rental is our partners’ contact info in case anything comes up that you need extra assistance handling.
COVID-19 Notice
In response to COVID-19, we’ve re-confirmed with all of our partners that they thoroughly clean and disinfect each piece of equipment prior to shipping it our customers. It’s been standard operating procedure for eTech Rentals to carefully prepare every item that we ship for the best experience possible. In addition to shipping ready-to-use and clean equipment, we encourage you to also take some extra precautions. When possible, do not share equipment. This may require renting more than you anticipated, but it will increase the safety of all participants. If do choose share equipment, please thoroughly clean all components that have shared contact. This would be the faceplate for the VR headset and the keyboard for a laptop. When cleaning, please do not use alcohol or other chemicals on the VR lenses as this can cause damage. If you have any questions about how to keep the equipment clean, please ask the sales rep when you speak with them.
